Vacation Bible School 2023 is... Spark Studios!
Get those creative juices flowing at Spark Studios VBS, where imagination is ignited, and creativity is awakened. Grab your mics and get ready to jam! VBS 2023 takes kids to Spark Studios where they will spark their imagination and kick their creativity into high gear! They will learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis it continues with us through the things we love to do! The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us—His creation into the original design He planned for us. Kids will have fun, all while learning that we are His workmanship (Eph. 2:10) and a masterpiece in process. Join us this summer as we explore being created in Christ and designed for God’s purpose! Kids will learn that God is actively at work designing a life filled with purpose for your child.

Kids Pre-K (must have been 3 and potty trained by 6-1-23) thru just completed 6th Grade are invited to the best week of their summer! A fun-filled week of making crafts, playing fun games, enjoying tasty snacks, singing cool songs, Bible lessons, making new friends, learning about missions, all designed to bring out your kids' creative streak as well as helping them grow their faith!
Each day kids will dig deep into God’s Word to build on the foundation Jesus provides through the pages of Scripture. SPARK imagination and get creative during Spark Studios VBS at Spinning Road Baptist Church! Kids will enjoy an AMAZING week of FUN, FAITH, and FRIENDS all while learning that they are God’s workmanship as they develop their talents to bring glory to Him.
- When the storms of life come, they'll need the One who will be with them to the end of the age.
- When anxiety sets in, they'll need the assurance that true worth comes from being a child of God, not from what other people think about them.
- When they feel unworthy, they can remember that Jesus loved them enough to die for them. They'll learn to be wise builders who continue in what they've learned and firmly believe.

- DAY 1: GOD, THE CREATOR
Bible Story: David Praised God the Creator (Acts 13:21-23; Psalm 104)
The Point: God is the marvelous Creator.
Bonus Verse: How countless are your works, LORD! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Psalm 104:24
- DAY 2: GOD, THE DESIGNER
Bible Story: God Prepared David to Be a King (1 Samuel 16)
The Point: God uniquely designed us for His purpose.
Bonus Verse: Humans do not see what the LORD sees, for humans see what is visible, but the LORD sees the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7b
- DAY 3: JESUS, THE KING
Bible Story: The People Welcomed Jesus (Psalm 118:26; Acts 13:21-23; Matthew 21:1-11)
The Point: Jesus is the King that God promised to save us.
Bonus Verse: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven! Matthew 21:9b
- DAY 4: JESUS, THE REDEEMER
Bible Story: Jesus Died and Rose Again (Luke 23:13-25,44-56; 24:1-12,36-49)
The Point: Jesus fulfilled God’s plan to save us.
Bonus Verse: He also said to them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day.” Luke 24:46
- DAY 5: HOLY SPIRIT, THE HELPER
Bible Story: God Sent the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-14; Acts 2)
The Point: The Holy Spirit gives us the power to follow God’s plan.
Bonus Verse: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
