Spinning Road Baptist Church
Sharing Christ with our Neighborhood and the World

Sunday School
Classes for all ages run from 9:15-10:15 on Sunday morning. Various curriculums are used at different levels. Children have fun and learn of Christ and the Bible from caring and loving teachers.

Children's Church
Children take part in the beginning part of the morning worship service, where there is a special children's sermon for them.. Then children ages 3 through 5th grade are dismissed to go downstairs where they are divided up into separate age groups. The children experience worship and instruction geared to their age levels and parents are given the luxury of worshipping while their children are being taught and cared for.

Nursery
A fully equipped nursery is provided, with separate sections for infants and toddlers. Parents can feel secure leaving their little ones in a safe and comfortable environment.

Vacation Bible School
READY FOR THE VBS THAT ROCKS?
KIDS AGE 3-JUST COMPLETED 6TH GRADE, are invited to join us in SonRock Kids Camp where they will have opportunities to learn new skills and reach new heights. Crisp mountain air, crystal clear streams of sweet water are only the beginning of what SonRock Kids Camp has to offer.
As SonRock campers, they can overcome obstacles they once may have thought impossible. They will build bonds of friendship with each other and with caring counselors as they discover that their true identities are not formed by where they go, what they can do or what others think. Like the apostle Peter, they'll explore who they are in Jesus Christ-the most important relationship of all.
Because of His love for us, He is the rock upon which we can build our lives!
We will discover what it means to be
Accepted by Jesus, Protected by Jesus, Saved by Jesus, Forgiven by Jesus, and the power of Living for Jesus.
We will have a great time with lively songs, hilarious skits, creative crafts, exciting games, Bible stories and tasty snacks- all the cool things that make Vacation Bible School so much fun, all in an exciting camp environment. On top of that, we will be helping your children learn how their lives can be transformed by God's great love for them! SonRock Kids Camp can be an inspirational and educational adventure for your entire family.
This summer, send your kids to SonRock Kids Camp VBS- a mountaintop experience they'll never forget!

AWANA

Beginning September 3, 2008 we will be starting our fifth year of AWANA.

AWANA International is a popular program designed to reach children and youth for Christ and train them to serve Him.

AWANA runs each Wednesday night of the school year from 6:05 until 7:30 p.m. AWANA clubs include the Cubbies for ages 3 and 4, Sparks for grades K-2, Truth and Training for grades 3-6, and Trek for grades 7-8.

This year we will be starting a new group for grades 9-12 called "Journey." We invite anyone from the Dayton community to join our AWANA program. There is a Bible Study for adults that also takes place during AWANA

SPIN-KEMP CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL

Our church runs a Pre-School that accomodates 3-4 year-olds and Pre-Kindergarten. For over thirty years, parents have trusted us with the care and education of their young children. We believe that our program provides a learning environment concerned with the physical, social, intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual development of the children.
Classes are available in the morning or in the afternoon. Our director is Mrs. Mia Lynch and can be contacted at 256-7304.
