AWANA: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
2 Timothy 2:15
Hello Awana Families,
We hope you all enjoyed a peaceful and refreshing Thanksgiving holiday.
As we move into December, we look forward to a meaningful and joy-filled Awana. While we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we’re reminded of the greatest gift ever given and the salvation He brings to us.
During this Christmas break, we encourage you to take a moment to thank our wonderful Awana leadership team for their faithful service. We are truly grateful for their dedication to our club and for walking with us as we raise our children in the Word of God.
Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year on January 7, 2026.
Warm regards,
Michelle & Tere, Co-Commanders
Next Wednesday, December 10. We’re looking forward to a joyful holiday tradition together! Our Christmas Shop will be open, giving Clubbers a special opportunity to choose gifts for the important adults in their lives.
To make the experience even sweeter, our helpful Gift-Wrapping Elves will wrap each present with care, so gifts will be ready to place under the tree as soon as Clubbers arrive home. We’re excited to share this meaningful and festive time with you and your families.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO AWANA EACH WEEK?
Our clubbers are awarded store points each week for having: Bible, Uniform, Sneakers, Dues (50¢ per wk.), handbook with at least one section ready, BONUS: theme night participation, making positive choices, and answering monthly newsletter questions! These points are like real money to spend in our AWANA Store, which is filled with items that kids love and is made possible by a portion of the weekly dues, church budget, and donations.
Dress for Success at Club. When deciding what to wear to Club, remember that games may include: Running, Sitting, Crawling, Rolling, Jumping, Crab-walking, and/or Lying on the floor
*Important Safety Reminder: Sneakers are required to participate in Game Time.
May this month be filled with joy, love, and blessings for each of you!
