Volume 4, Issue 1- Things You Will Want To Know
Hello Awana Families,
We hope you had a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday!
December will be a wonderful and busy month in Awana. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we're reminded of the greatest joy of all time and the salvation He makes possible.
Enjoy the Christmas break and don't forget to thank our amazing Awana leadership staff for their faithful service. We're grateful for their dedication to our AWANA club and for partnering with us to raise our children in the Word of God.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season with your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you back in the New Year on January 8, 2025!
Best regards,
Michelle & Tere
Co-Commanders
Next Wednesday, December 11! Get ready for a special holiday shopping experience! Our Christmas store is coming up next Wednesday, December 11. This is a wonderful opportunity for Clubbers to pick out gifts for the special adults in their lives.
To make it even more special, our Gift-Wrapping Elves will wrap each present with care, making them ready to slide under the tree as soon as Clubbers get home!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO AWANA EACH WEEK?
Our clubbers are awarded store points each week for having Bible, uniform, sneakers, dues (50¢ per wk.), handbook with at least one section ready, BONUS: theme night participation, making positive choices, and answering monthly newsletter questions! These points are like real money to spend in our AWANA Store, which is filled with items that kids love and is made possible by a portion of the weekly dues, church budget, & donations.
Dress for Success at Club. When deciding what to wear to Club, remember that games may include running, sitting, crawling, rolling, jumping, crab-walking, and/or lying on the floor.
*Important Safety Reminder: Sneakers are required to participate in Game Time.
