Spin Kemp Christian Preschool
Parents Newsletter January 2022
Since payment envelopes didn’t get sent out until we returned to school,
TUITION WILL DUE BY
FRIDAY, JANUARY 7TH.
Back in November, we hosted a Chick Fil-A Fundraiser, we earned $75.74.
Thank you for supporting our preschool.
This month we are having another fundraiser at Chipotle on January 11th
from 5-9. Please see the flyer being sent home.
The preschool will be closed on Monday, January 17th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Our teachers post on class dojo, please make sure you are also keeping up to date with what’s happening in class on that app. This is a great place for the most up to date information.
Tuition envelopes need to be returned with payments.
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for February. Please make sure you mark your calendars for Thursday, February 17th and Friday, February 18th, there is no preschool during conferences. If you would prefer a phone conference, please let your teacher know when sign-ups are posted. While conferences are generally for the parents only, if you need to bring your student or their sibling just let us know, so we can set some toys out for them.
We are off the following Monday, February 21st in observance of Presidents Day.
Registration will now be $50.
Tuition for school year 2022/2023 will be as follows:
3 days - $160 per month
4 days $210 per month
5 days $270 per month
Again, this change does not start until Fall 2022.
God Bless,
Carol Boersma

Happy New Year! This month we will be working on the letters M, N, O and P. Please clean out folders daily. If you haven’t already done so, please send in a long-sleeved shirt and pants to replace the shorts and t-shirts in case of an accident. January can be a snowy or icy month; please pay attention to school closing and delays!
With love,
Mrs. Johnson
Welcome back and Happy New Year!!!
We will continue on with our letters D, G, & O; the numbers 8 & 9; the color Blue; and Ovals. We are going to practice with scissors and writing our names.
On Wednesday, January 19 we are going to have a donut snowman snack, I’ll have the sign up for it after we get back from break.
If you want to practice with them at home you can have them work with their letter and sound recognition.
Thank you and God Bless,
Miss. Schroder
Welcome back my friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful break that was filled with lots of family time and memories. It is so hard to believe we are this far into the school year already. We will continue to work on our letter and number of the week, but we will start adding in other concepts (same/different, small/med/large, patterns, etc). Please be sure to keep working with the kids at home. I love seeing the progress we have made so far, so let’s keep it up!
Make sure you check (and empty!) their folders daily. You can see what we are working on and how they are doing with it. Several kids have been struggling with counting (in general) and this will be a crucial skill for kindergarten. Towards the end of the month, I will start working on assessments again to prepare for parent teacher conferences.
I will continue to communicate primarily through Class Dojo, so make sure you keep checking that. If you ever have questions or concerns you can contact me through Class Dojo.
We had a great first half of the year and I am positive the second half will be just as great and will go by just as quickly. Thanks for all you are doing to help the kids. They need the both of us, working together, to make the most of this year.
With love and a thankful heart,
Mrs. Nowak and Mrs. Linden
