Parent Newsletter
January 2026
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and start to their New Year. It was nice to get some time away and spend time with my family. Tuition envelopes were delayed until January so they wouldn’t get misplaced over the break. Tuition will be due by Wednesday,
January 14th.
Preschool will be closed in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 19th.
- Please make sure you check DOJO for any closures or delays before leaving the house on those wintery mornings. I also post on the WDTN and WHIO when we have a delay or a closure.
Our licensing requires that we do monthly fire drills. This does require us to go outside briefly. Please make sure you pack a jacket, just in case we have a drill.
We are planning a glow party for the kids on Wednesday, January 28th. The kids have a blast in the fellowship hall with the fun lighting!
Thank you to those who supported us on our Chick-fil-A fundraiser; we made just over $30.
Happy New Year!

MRS. HEATHERLY’S EARLY BEGINNERS
Hello Parents,
I hope everyone had a great break. I sure did miss the kiddos. We are continuing to work on our letters, numbers and shapes. We have been working on using scissors.
I have been putting out some harder puzzles as well.
he kids are doing great with tracing; they have improved so much already. We have been reading about Noah’s ark.
Reminder that we do not have school on Monday,
January 19th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me on class DOJO!
Mrs. Heatherly
Happy New Year!!!!
We will continue on with the letters H, R, M & D, the numbers 11-14.
I’m going to have a donut snowman snack on January 21. Look for the sign
up sheet.
If there are any delays or closings for the preschool, a post will be made on
class Dojo as well as on the news. If you have any questions, message me.
Thank you and God Bless.
Miss. Schroder
Happy New Year! I can’t believe we are already this far into the school year, but here
we are. The kids are making some progress, and we are so proud of them.
We will continue with our letters and numbers of the week.
We will also be doing more with patterns, sequences,
rhyming words, missing letters/numbers, simple addition
and possibly some subtraction.
We will also start learning last names! You will notice that the kid’s first names disappeared over Christmas Break. This is important information they will need to have for kindergarten, but we will not stress too much on it. Many of our kiddos are still struggling with their names. Please be sure to work with them at home.
Please continue to check Class Dojo!! This is our primary source for communication, not only for what we are doing in the classroom and upcoming events, but I will also be posting on there if we have a snow day due to inclement weather (I will post as soon as I know, so check before leaving your house).
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach
out to us.
We are here to help the kids grow, and if there is anything you see that we can do to further help with this, let us know!
Grace and Peace,
Ms. Nowak and Mrs. Clark
