February 2025
Parent Newsletter

I feel like this school year is zooming right by. How are we already turning the calendar to February? February is always a quick month for us in the preschool. Here are a few reminders for the month!

- Tuition is due Wednesday, February 5th.
- Classroom Valentine parties are scheduled for Wednesday, February

- Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 13th, and Friday, February 14th. Please see the teachers' sign-up sheets to schedule your conference. Preschool will not be in session on those days, but you are more than welcome to bring your child if need be. Just let your child’s teacher know so they can set out some toys.
- No school on 2/17 in observance of Presidents Day.
- Our early beginner class is planning to reopen on Monday, February 3rd. We hope to enroll a few more children so if you have a child that is potty trained and 2 ½-3 this would be a great start. We do offer a sibling discount. This class only meets M, W, and F.
- Pre-K parents: Kindergarten registration will be starting for local schools. I believe Beavercreek has opened its scheduling for the district. Fairborn City School has registration opening on February 24th with screening done in April.

I am not sure if some of have heard, but Pastor Scott will be retiring in early February. He has been such a blessing to the preschool. We will miss his coming down to sing with the kids every month. Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his retirement.
God Bless,
Carol Boersma, Preschool Director

Happy February!
As we continue on with the school year we will continue with the letters G, L, & F, numbers 15-17.
Valentine’s Party is on Wednesday, February 12. Your children are allowed to bring Valentine’s to pass out.
Parent Teacher Conferences are on Thursday and Friday the 13 & 14, there will be a sign-up for them, please make sure to pick a day that works best for you. We can do conferences over the phone just indicate which you would like.
The following Monday, February 17 is President’s Day and there is No school.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask or message through Class Dojo.
Thank you and God Bless!!

Happy Valentine’s! It’s hard to believe we are heading into February already, but here
we are.
We are going to start getting busy again. This month will probably go by very quickly with a lot of things planned. I will be starting the month with doing individual assessments on the kids to prepare for our parent teacher conferences mid-February.
We will have our Valentine’s Day Party on Wednesday the 12th. The kids will be exchanging Valentine’s, and I would encourage you to have the kids write their names themselves on them. This will be great practice for them! More details for this will be posted to Class Dojo when it gets closer to the day.

It may not seem like it now, but the end of the school year will be here before we know it and we still have a lot of material to cover. While we are seeing lots of growth in the kids (and that is so encouraging), you are reinforcing what we are doing in the classroom is where the knowledge really gets cemented into the kids. This is a fast-paced classroom and that is only possible because of your help. You are all rockstar parents and I appreciate you so much.
Please continue to look at Class Dojo for updates from me. Class Dojo is my primary source for communication with you. If we have any inclement weather, I will post our status on there as soon as I know.
The rest of the school year is going to pass by us in no time. We have a lot of fun activities planned in the upcoming months that we are excited for. We are so encouraged with all the kids and the improvement we have seen. And knowing more improvement will still happen, is so exciting. Let’s all keep up the amazing work!
With Love,
Ms. Nowak and Mrs. Clark
