February 2026 Parent Newsletter
- Tuition is due on Thursday, February 5th.
- Valentine parties will be held on Wednesday, February 11th
- Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, the 12th, and Friday the 13th. Students DO NOT have school on those days. If you need to bring your child to the conference, just let us know, so that can set out some toys to occupy them. Please see your teacher’s bulletin boards to sign up for a time slot.
- No school on Monday, February 16th due to Presidents Day.
- Fall 2026 enrollment starts during conference week. If your child is returning in the fall, please fill out the yellow continuation form. A $50 non-refundable fee is also due to secure your spot. We will open registration to the general public on March 2nd. So, if you know anyone looking to enroll, send them our way.
Please be aware that House Bill 114 was passed in December regarding kindergarten enrollment. Children must be 5 by the first day of school. They have done away with districts, setting their own cutoff dates.
We would like to announce that Spinning Road Baptist Church has a new Pastor. Pastor Elliott comes to us from California with his family. The doors are always open here if you are looking for a church home. Services are held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 and Sunday evenings at 7 pm. Sunday school classes meet at 9:15.
God Bless,

Hello parents,
It’s been great having the kiddos back. We are continuing to work on our letters, numbers, and shapes. We are going to start tracing our names soon.
We are reading the book of Genesis and learning how God created the earth.
We will be having our Valentine's party on Wednesday, February 11th. The kids will make bags in class. We ask each kid to bring in 5 signed Valentine cards to exchange. Please make sure to still pack a snack that day.
Parent-teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, February 12th. I will have a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in a couple of weeks. There will be no school on Friday, February 13th or Monday, February 16th.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me on class dojo.
Thank you,

Happy Valentine’s! It’s hard to believe we are heading into February already, but here
we are.
We are going to start getting busy again. This month will probably go by very quickly with a lot of things planned. I will be starting the month by doing individual assessments on the kids to prepare for our parent-teacher conferences in mid-February.
We will have our Valentine’s Day Party on Wednesday, the 11th. The kids will be exchanging Valentine’s, and I would encourage you to have the kids write their names themselves on them. This will be great practice for them! More details for this will be posted to Class Dojo when it gets closer to the day.
It may not seem like it now, but the end of the school year will be here before we know it, and we still have a lot of material to cover. While we are seeing lots of growth in the kids (and that is so encouraging), you reinforce what we are doing in the classroom is where the knowledge really gets cemented into the kids. This is a fast-paced classroom, and that is only possible because of your help. You are all rockstar parents, and I appreciate you so much.
Please continue to look at Class Dojo for updates from me. Class Dojo is my primary source
for communication with you. If we have any inclement weather, I will post our status there as soon as I know.
The rest of the school year is going to pass by us in no time. We have a lot of fun activities planned in the upcoming months that we are excited about. We are so encouraged by all the kids and the improvement we have seen. And knowing that more improvement will still happen is so exciting. Let’s all keep up the amazing work!
With Love,
Ms. Nowak and Mrs. Clark
