We had our licensing inspection early in September. It went well. A copy of our inspection is located on the bulletin board just inside the preschool. This inspection happens every year and is always unannounced. It is nice to get that out of the way early.

Dear Parent & Families,
Our Middlers Class has been having a lot of fun making new friends and learning the school routine. We have been working with glitter and glue to decorate our names and painting our handprints.
The kids are enjoying circle time where we read books and sing along to songs.
Their favorite book this month is “Llama Llama Red Pajama”.
Next month, we will talk and read about the fall season. We will be doing some fun fall crafts.
Over the next month, we will start to become more familiar with high-frequency letters s, a, t, p, i, n, and m. We will also be working on counting, colors, and shapes.
Happy fall!
Mrs. Spencer
Our year is off to a good start! The kids are getting comfortable in our classroom, learning the routines, and remembering each other’s names. We have talked about capital letters made with straight lines and will begin looking at ones formed with curved
lines in October.
We will also begin Star of the Week. Each Monday, one child will have the chance to share a poster about themselves with the class. Later in the week, we will all draw a picture of that friend and collect them into a book for your child to bring home.
Our themes for the month will include Pets, Farm, Fall, and Camping. In addition to the school-wide events that Mrs. Boersma has planned, our class also hopes to take a walking scavenger hunt around the block to look for fall items. Parents are welcome to attend! Please watch for more information and a
sign-up sheet.
We are looking forward to a fun month full of learning, exploring, and making memories together!
Mrs. Linden & Mrs. Clark
