Hello Awana Family,
It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like Spring, maybe winter is on its way out. Club is coming down to our last few weeks. Clubbers will be pushing to complete sections to finish their handbooks before the end of April, so they can be presented their handbook award at closing ceremonies in May.
Grand Prix Race
Congratulations to all who participated in this year’s annual Grand Prix! You all did a tremendous job in creating, & preparing for this year’s race. The design category brought very creative and well-designed cars.
MESSY CHURCH
TUESDAY, April 10, 5:30 – 7 PM
LOOKING FOR A WAY TO CONNECT TO GOD, NOT SURE REGULAR
CHURCH WILL FIT? THEN JOIN US AT MESSY CHURCH.
Messy church is a time to have fun, learn about god through crafts, games, singing, and stories and then have a meal together. Messy church is ideal for families, but is for anyone, whether you have never been to church before or have been many times. There’s no cost, no dress code and no age limit. We do ask that children be accompanied by an adult. Come check it out.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) 2018
July 15-July 20 SAVE THE DATE!!!
VBS 2018 will be held July 15-July 20 (Sunday – Friday)!
Clubbers, Cubbies thru TnT’ers are invited to discover that God has
given them His ultimate playbook! In fact, He wants them to join His team, train hard, celebrate salvation, and encourage one another! Your kids will enjoy life-changing worship, missions, projects, games, crafts, Bible fun and much more!
Mark your calendars for this fun summer adventure! Registration begins June 1st!
Please remember if you do not have a church home you are more than welcome to worship with us on Sunday mornings! We have Sunday school for all ages at 9:15 am. Worship service at 10:30 am and children’s church for preschool thru 5th grade during the 10:30 am service. A nursery is available during both hours. We hope you will join us! We invite you to come as a visitor and leave as a friend.

April 4 ~ Nickel and Dime Night Clubbers bring nickels and dimes for our local AWANA missionaries
April 11 ~ Theme night: NERD FOR GOD’S WORD NIGHT – dress like a “Smartie”
April 18 ~ $5 DOLLAR BILL NIGHT – Possibly win $5 for saying verses.
April 25 ~ Theme night: PJ NIGHT – (Praise Jesus) night. Wear PJs to club.
May 2 ~ store #3 Opens!
May 2 ~ Aloha Night - We are ready for warm weather! Sunglasses, beach hats, and Hawaiian
shirts are all welcome!
May 9 ~ CLOSING CEREMONIES - families welcome.
May16 ~ CKK and summer youth programs begin.

Answer: A leek.
