Welcome back clubbers, leaders, and parents,
We are so excited to welcome you back to Awana for the 2020-2021 club year! We are offering virtual, hybrid, and In-person options for club this year! We are glad to have you with us! This has been a strange year for all of us. While it’s true, Awana won’t look the same this year, we are doing what we can to keep the Word of God present in your children’s lives. Whether you are participating virtually at home, or utilizing the hybrid option, we have a place for you in our club!
Thank you for entrusting your children to us on
We hope and pray that you will see and experience God working through their lives.
We are working to make this a great year for everyone!!
You can expect to receive a newsletter like this one every month on or around
the 1st week of each month.
While this would be true any club year, this year it's vital that you check your email for club updates, theme night reminders, and changes! You will also find out what's happening so your kids don't miss out on any of the fun! If we should ever need to cancel or close club for any reason, this is how we would notify you.
There is an adult Bible study in the Sanctuary from 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm, feel free to check it out while your clubber is having fun during Awana
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
Begins next Wednesday and continues thru early November.
Bring a full shoebox, or items that can be used to pack
boxes at Awana. This is an optional event open to all clubbers
and leaders. Stay tuned for further details.
The 2nd Wednesday of each month, we’re asking clubbers to bring in nickels and dimes to raise money to help support our local Awana Missionaries. We will present the monies raised to them in 2021 when they visit our club. Shh, it’s a secret the Missionaries are unaware of this great surprise! Thank-you!
*Hint: Clubbers check under the recliner and couch cushions they tend to hide a lot of change.
Please be sure clubbers wear sneakers for game time, it’s difficult to run in flip flops or boots. Sometimes clubbers cannot participate because they have improper shoes! We would prefer that they not go barefoot to minimize injuries and with cooler weather the game floor can be cold. Help us keep your kids safe.
October 8 ~ Breonna W
