I feel like this New Year is off to a fast start! How are we already in the month of March? March will be another busy month for the preschool. Here are a few things happening:
- Tuition will be due on Tuesday, March 5th.
- Daylight savings time is March 10th.
- This time we spring ahead 1 hr.
- Beavercreek Pizza Dive Fundraiser. Come out and see who the celebrity servers are on
- We will have a leprechaun hunt on March 15th.
- Egg hunt will be March 20th. The teachers will send out more details about that.
- Spring photos/cap and gown photos are scheduled for March 18th. All students will be photographed. The Pre-K class will do the spring photos and the cap & gown photos.
- Spring Break is scheduled for March 25-April 1st. Preschool will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Happy spring!
I can’t believe it is already March. Only a few more months left of school.
We are going to start off the month with Dr. Seuss theme for the first week. Then the rest of the month will be all about Easter. For Bible time I will be going over the Easter story and talking about what Jesus did for us. Since the kids all seem interested in trying to write their name I am going to have them practice tracing the letters of their names. We will also continue practicing with scissors.
We will have a Leprechaun Hunt on March 15th. I will plan a St. Patrick’s Day craft and a little snack that day.
March 18th we will have our spring pictures.
March 20th will be our Egg Hunt. I will have more information about that closer to that time.
March 25th -April 1st is our spring break.
Hopefully, we will have some warmer days this month to get the kids outside to play. Please make sure to bring jackets just in case we decide to go out.

We will continue with our letters B, Q, J, & Z numbers 18, 19, & 20, trapezoid, and the colors green and yellow. This month we will have our Leprechaun Hunt and Egg Hunt.
Easter Break is March 25 thru April 1, returning April 2 or 3.

We are progressing nicely through our alphabet and numbers. We will continue to work on patterns and rhyming while introducing sequencing and missing letters/numbers. After looking at the assessments, we will regain some focus on recognizing numbers some more.
Mid-March will bring us school pictures (along with graduation pictures), a Leprechaun Hunt for St. Patrick’s Day, Egg Hunt for Easter and then Spring Break. I have a feeling March is going to zoom past us in no time with so much going on.

Hopefully, the weather will continue to get nicer and nicer and we will be able to spend more time outside playing. Please make sure you send the kids with jackets in case we go outside. I always tell the kids that they have to take their coats outside with us, but they don’t always have to wear them.
Thank you for all you do with your kids at home and reiterating what we are learning. We really appreciate you guys teaming up with us to make sure the kids are successful this year.
The end of the year will be here before we know, so let’s keep the momentum going.
