The excitement that comes with fall is slowly creeping in. This is my absolute favorite time of year! Crisp mornings, the fallen leaves and the beautiful colors.
I’d like to take a minute to welcome Mrs. McElroy to our staff. She will be the aide in Miss Schroders room this year on MWF.

October is filled with so much fun around the preschool.
Here are the important dates:
Monday, October 3rd- picture day
Wednesday, October 5th- tuition is due.
If you haven’t already submitted your supply fee
please do!
Monday, October 19th- no school
Wednesday, October 12th- Story time with Mr. Isaac
Thursday, October 13th- Chick fil a fundraiser
Wednesday, October 19th- Music with Pastor
Monday, October 24 starts our spirit week! We do not celebrate Halloween here at the preschool, so we think this is a fun alternative!
Monday is PJ day (24th), Tuesday is Crazy clothes day (25th), Wednesday is fall theme shirt day (26th), Thursday is Hero Day (27th) and Friday is Sports Day (28th).
Wednesday, October 26th is fall festival
Friday, October 28th is our Kroger field trip. If your child does not attend preschool on Fridays, they are more than welcome to join us on this field trip. Be on the lookout for permission slips and volunteer sign up.
Friday, October 28th- Scholastic book orders due.

In August, we did a little team building with some goat yoga!
We had so much fun!
I would definitely recommend checking out Goat County LLC for a fun event. They also offer goat cuddles!!
We also like to thank everyone that supported our Chipotle fundraiser, we made $136.41. Thank you so much!

We will have Picture Day on Monday, October 3 and we will be closed on Monday, October 11 for Columbus Day.
I will have a sign up for help with the Fall Festival and the walk to Kroger.

As the saying goes, Happy Fall Y’all! September has been a great month and the kids are doing great in the classroom. As we continue to move forward with our letters and numbers, please be sure to reinforce what we are doing in the classroom at home also. Learning is a continuous thing and the more consistency the kids have with what we are learning, the quicker things will begin to click for them. Like I have said before, we are a TEAM working together for your child’s success.
As the temperatures continue to dip into some nice, but cooler, temperatures, please remember to pack light jackets for the kids. I would like to make sure they get outside to play whenever possible, but if it is on the chilly side and everyone doesn’t have a jacket, then it won’t be possible to go outside. I also tend to keep the classroom on the chilly side (there is always a window open), so having sweaters available in the classroom is also nice for when the kids
get cold.
