October 2023
September was a fast month in preschool. The children are making new friends, learning their new routine and having fun!
October will be just as fast paced and packed with tons of fun!
Just a few reminders:
Tuition is due on Thursday, October 5th. Please make sure you are placing it in the mailbox inside the preschool doors, not the mailbox at the top of the stairs near the church offices. Please include your supply fee of $60 if you haven’t already submitted it.
No school on Monday, October 9th
Donuts with dudes (or dudettes) is schedule for Wednesday,
October 18th. More info to follow!
Our next fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st at Chipotle. Please note we are not using the Beavercreek location. This time it is the one in front of Meijer.
Flyers will be sent out with all the details.
Picture day is Monday, October 30th.
All children will be photographed along with a class picture.
Since we are a Christian organization, we do not celebrate Halloween. But we do have a spirit week planned the week of October 23rd!
Monday (23rd) is PJ day,
Tuesday (24th) is Crazy day,
Wednesday (25th) is Fall Festival and wear fall clothing,
Thursday (26th) is Hero Day
Friday (27th) is Sports
God Bless,

Hello,
Happy Fall! The start of the school year has been great so far. The kids are starting to remember the routine and getting comfortable with the classroom.
In October we will be learning about community helpers and starting our fall theme which will consist of apples, leaves, and pumpkins.
There is no school October 9th due to Columbus Day.
October 18th we will have Donuts with Dudes, I will have more information about that on class DoJo.
The week of October 23rd is our spirit week and fall festival.
Monday 23rd will be PJ Day, Wednesday 25th will be our fall festival, and Friday 26th will be our sports day.
Closer to the date I will have sign ups to help with the fall festival.
Picture Day will be October 30th.
With it getting cooler out please bring a jacket for when we play outside.
Thank you,
Mrs. McElroy

As the saying goes, Happy Fall Y’all!
September has been a great month and the kids are doing great in the classroom. As we continue to move forward with our letters and numbers, please be sure to reinforce what we are doing in the classroom at home also. Learning is a continuous thing and the more consistency the kids have with what we are learning, the quicker things will begin to click for them.
Like I have said before, we are a TEAM working together for your child’s success.
As the temperatures continue to dip into some nice, but cooler, temperatures, please remember to pack light jackets for the kids.
I would like to make sure they get outside to play whenever possible, but if it is on the chilly side and everyone doesn’t have a jacket, then it won’t be possible to go outside. I also tend to keep the classroom on the chilly side (there is always a window open), so having sweaters available in the classroom is also nice for when the kids get cold.
We will be having a spirit week the week of October 23rd along with our Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 25th. Please continue to look at Class Dojo for more information regarding this week in mid-October. Also, I post several updates on what we are doing in the classroom, but I also post lots of information for you as well. So it’s always a good idea to keep checking out our class on Class Dojo.
If you ever need anything from me, please do not hesitate to contact me through Class Dojo messaging. I may not always respond immediately, but I try to respond as soon as I can.
Many Blessings,
Ms. Nowak & Mrs. Martell
