For unto us a Child is born…
Isaiah 9:6
We’ve made it to December! 2020 has been one rough year and I am looking forward to what 2021 brings. But first, we get to celebrate the birth of our Lord! What a beautiful gift we have been given. We hope this season is one filled with beautiful blessings, health and love.
This is a short month for us and filled with so much. As a Christian preschool, we will be sharing the true meaning of Christmas with the children. Yes, you will see evidence of santa and his reindeer. But our real emphasis is on the celebration of Christs birth.
Please make sure you are getting your payment in by December 4th. Cash payments should be brought to the office. Please don’t forget those payment envelopes!
Winter is here in the Dayton area. Please make sure you are dressing your child appropriately for the weather. The classes will still play outside if possible. Make sure your child also has a change of clothes that matches the current season.
Our fundraiser at Chipotle earned us $81.64. We also were given a $25.00 donation toward that fundraiser from a family that was not able to attend! Thank you to all those families that participated. I do have another fundraiser scheduled in January for Jason’s Deli…more info will follow in January.

We will have a little Christmas Party Friday, December 18. Christmas Break is Monday, December 21 thru Friday, January 1, we will resume Monday, January 4.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
Miss. Schroder
Hello everyone!!
It’s wonderful to really start to see the growth of the children in all areas. Remember, if you ever have questions or concerns about this, please speak with me. I’m usually free for at least a few minutes after class or we can set up a phone time.
In December we will learn the numbers 8, 9 and 10 and the letters D, M and S. We will also learn about Christmas and most importantly the reason for this season with the birth of Jesus. We can’t have an actual Christmas concert, but we will be learning a cute song about the birth of Jesus and I hope to record it for you. It might be nice to make a special time to sit and watch it with your family just to make your little person feel a bit of normal Christmas magic. More details to come on Class Dojo.
Thank you for all your support with our requests for different things. Have a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Thankyou as always for trusting me with your precious little humans. They really are a
joy to teach!!
Peace be with you all!

Merry Christmas!!! Now that we are all refreshed from our Thanksgiving break, we will be having a busy three weeks before Christmas break with lots of decorating the classroom as well as our tree. We will be talking a lot about the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We will be working on the letters K and J, and numbers 11 and 12. We will also be having a full week of reviewing everything we have learned since August. Many kids are still struggling with recognizing the letters and numbers we have done so far, please continue to work with them at home to strengthen their skills. When we return in January, I will be starting to work on their last names as well as their birthdates.
I am still opening the windows for air flow in the class, so please continue to pack sweatshirts for them. Keeping an air flow through the room is critical to keeping our kids healthy. If you do suspect your child is sick, please keep them home.
I don't want to be thinking about this yet, however, if we do end up having a snow day or an hour delay, I will be posting to Class Dojo as soon as I know. So if we are having some inclement weather, please look at Class Dojo before leaving your house.
We only have three weeks till Christmas break - we can do this! It's going to go by so quickly. Please continue to work with your kids on their letters and numbers. We are moving at a fast pace, but they are doing so great at it all.
Merry Christmas and many blessings to your families during this season.
