November 2021
So thankful Thanksgiving is upon us! I am looking forward to spending some much needed time with family. The preschool will be closed November 22nd-26th in observance of the holiday.
We hope you have a healthy and wonderful Thanksgiving.
It is Daylights savings time once again. This year our clocks fall back an hour on November 7th.
This month our Spirit night is at Chick Fil-A. It is an all-day event on November 9th. Flyers will be sent home soon!
Operation Christmas Child donations are being accepted. Please have your donations in by November 10th.
The classes will be packing their boxes November 12th. The church will be collecting out boxes on the 14th.
Cookie decorating with mom is also coming up on November 17th. This is open to any female caregiver, so moms, grandmas, aunt and babysitters. We just ask each child to have one adult join them. We will have a quick story and then decorate sugar cookies. Children may leave with their adult once they are done. We plan to begin at 11:15.
Jackets ~ The kids will still go outside to play from time to time. Please make sure you are sending a jacket in.
Calendars ~ Please make sure you are checking our monthly calendar that is sent home each month. If you need an extra, let us know. We also have extra at a glance calendars that show the entire school year including our days off, tuition due dates etc.
A big thank you for those who donated and volunteered to make our Fall Festival a
smashing success!!
We’d like to thank the Greene County parks and trails for bringing out their fun animals. Ms. Mel was great at showing the kids her friends.
Next up: Dayton Metro Library for sending Mr. Isaac over to read us stories. He is amazing!!
We’d like to thank Lowe’s in Beavercreek for donating pumpkins for our fall festival.
Lastly, Nothing Bundt Cake in Beavercreek, for spoiling our teachers with delicious Bundt cakes!
We are so glad they are coming to Beavercreek in early November!

It is hard to believe that it is November already! As the weather is getting colder, please remember to bring a jacket since we will still be outside every day the weather allows! This month we will be working on the letters H, I, and J. We have lots of fun activities and crafts planned for this month including packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will also be working on some fun holiday crafts and snacks! Remember that you can always message me on Class Dojo and I will get back to you ASAP.
God Bless,
Mrs. Johnson

Happy Thanksgiving! This month will be packed with fun activities and will be short! Please remember to always have a sweater packed for the kids. They will either need it so we can go outside to play or for the classroom since it tends to be on the cooler side. Also, don't forget to check (and empty!) your child's folder daily for what we are doing in the classroom.
To start the month, we will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. Please refer to the paperwork sent home for any suggestions, or you can contact me. We will be packing the shoeboxes on Monday, November 15th, so please have everything to me by Friday, Nov 12th
Mid-month. We will be having a week of celebrating Thanksgiving. We will start the week with our own little classroom party, lots of Thanksgiving crafts and cookie decorating with Moms!
Please note, the preschool is closed Monday Nov 22 - Friday Nov 26. We will resume school on Monday Nov 29th.
With Love,
Mrs. Nowak, Mrs. Southerland & Mrs. Linden
