“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
From your Administrator – Mia Lynch
Good Friday is March 30th and the beginning of Easter Break, classes won’t resume until April 9th.
Thank you for helping us with our spring fundraiser. We raised $310.00 for our End of the Year picnic costs. Now the only thing we are praying for is good weather.
March was a busy month. We had conferences, the start of fall registration, the Librarian’s visit, music with Pastor Scott (the students sang so loud we could hear them in the office) and Men’s night.
April will be an exciting time. After being indoors for a long time students will finally get to feel the fresh air. The warm spring weather gives everyone a renewal of energy. Please check your child’s extra change of clothes so you can switch out the winter items for clothes more suited for spring.
Registration is moving right along. The Mon/Wed/Fri classes are in demand as usual. Our registration is on a first come basis that is why it is important you get your fall registration forms in as soon as possible. If the enrollment in any one class meets it maximum, the state will not allow us to exceed that number. We are offering the 4 and 5 day program again this fall which will include Middlers this year. The classes must get a minimum of 12 students for it to be cost effective.
Spring photos are scheduled for Wed, April 18th. The Pre-K students that are going on to kindergarten will be taking their individual photos in cap and gown. This is to mark the end of their time at Spin-Kemp. If you also want them in a spring pose, the photographer can offer you that option as well. The younger students will naturally be getting spring pictures. As usual there will be group photos for each class. We know many of you have younger children and sometimes families like photos of them together. If you plan on having photos taken of your younger child, he or she will also need a form with their information, please let the teacher know you need an extra form.

Looking Ahead ….. Each year we do a Christian Service fundraiser as a Trike-a-Thon. The students bring their bikes or trikes and helmets to ride a course set up in the parking lot. The preschool chooses a non-profit charity and families collect money donations for the event. Last year we divided the money evenly between The Ronald McDonald House of Dayton and SISCA (a no kill animal shelter) in Kettering. We have chosen these same foundations this year. The Trike-a-Thon will be Friday, May 4th. If it rains the event will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 9th. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A NEW BIKE FOR THIS EVENT! Our students have a lot of problems riding new bikes on this course
HELEMETS ARE REQUIRED
We need lots of volunteers for this event. If you have time to help us, please let the Teacher know
you would like to be a volunteer.
Spring is here! It certainly is a welcome sight. The Early Beginners will be going outside for playtime
a lot more often so please make sure they have a light jacket or sweater.
We would like to thank each of you for coming to Men’s Night. It is always nice to share a
special evening with your child.
School will be on break from March 30th to April 9th.We will be looking forward to spring crafts as
we watch life begin again. We will be learning letters U, V and W, numbers 8 and 9 and colors
pink and purple.
Parents thank you so much for all you do for our class and your children. We appreciate everything
you supplied us in March. We couldn’t do it without your support! :)
Have a joyous Easter with your family and friends.

April showers do bring May flowers and so much more…
As the weather continues to improve we plan on spending play time outside. Exploring the new life
this time of year presents to us. Please dress your child for the temperature changes.
We hope all enjoyed all the Dads enjoyed their special evening at school. The students love to show
off what we do at preschool. This special night means so much to them.
We will be finishing our introduction of the alphabet this month and review what we have learned. Review of our numbers, opposites will continue as we move along.
Earth Day is April 22nd and we have a fun project to do. A discussion about recycling and reusing will
be worked around Earth Day. We can learn to do our part to save our earth.

Dear Preschool Parents,
Spring is finally here and we are ready to enjoy the warm weather and the beautiful sunshine! We have been indoors long enough and are ready to be set free. Our play time will be spent outside, weather permitting; so dress appropriately.
We trust you will have a wonderful time with your family during Easter Break. Now time to finish up our year, get ready for summer and then on to the next step, Kindergarten!
Enjoy this wonderful time of the year with your family by taking walks, riding your bikes, watching the trees bud and flowers bloom around us. The Bible says: “old things are passed away, behold all things become new.”
