We have made it to May! This will be a very busy month as we finish out the school year!
In class we have finished the alphabet and will be reviewing our numbers. Please continue to review the alphabet at home.
We will have the Trike-a-thon from 9:30am-10am on 4 May (with 11 May as the rain date). Please bring a helmet and something to ride (trike, bike, or scooter)
that morning.
Field Day will be on May 23rd from 9:30am to 10 am, if it’s raining that day activities will be moved indoors. We will need volunteers for both of these events. Please let me know if you are willing to help! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
And finally, May 25th is our last day! We have had a great year and it has been a pleasure to have your children in my class!
Have a great summer and God bless!
Mrs. Johnson
Hello Everyone!!!
So this last month will go very fast. We will start with finishing going over our letters with the letter X, working with Diamonds and doing some fun superhero crafts.
Activities for this month start with the Trike-a-thon on Wednesday,
May 4, please have your child bring a helmet and I will have a sign up for this if you would like to volunteer.
Secondly we will have the last visit from the Librarian. The following Wednesday, May 11, then on May 18th we will have our last Music with Pastor.
Field Day is Monday, May 23, it will be indoor or outdoor. Our last day is Wednesday,
May 25.
Thank you so much for having your children in my class.
Miss. Schroder
I can’t believe we are into May already, but here we are! The last few months really have flown by, and this month will be no exception! We will be finishing our alphabet, numbers up to 25, touching on missing numbers/letters, rhyming, sequencing and other simple concepts. We will also have a review week thrown in there.
Wednesday, May 4th will be our annual Trike-A-Thon and Monday, May 23rd will be our annual Field Day. We will need lots of parent volunteers for both days and a sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board for those. Our Trike-A-Thon will have a rain date if Wednesday, May 11th. Field Day activities will be moved indoors if it’s raining on the 23rd.
Another fun activity is planned for the weekend of May 20-22. One of those evenings, I will be inflating my hot air balloon at Shellabarger Park for 30-45 minutes for all the students and families at Spin Kemp. This is not a required school event, just something different I thought the kids (and their families!) would like to see and experience. A final date and time will be posted the week of May 16th.
Our last day of school will be Wednesday May 25th. We will have a “Last Day Luau” party to celebrate such an awesome year.
This month is packed with lots of activities, so please keep a close eye on Class Dojo. I will be posting more details on everything the closer we get to everything.
Mrs. Linden and I have really enjoyed this year with the kiddos. Each one has touched our hearts in some way and we are so proud of the progress they each made this year.
Here is to one last successful and busy month!
With love,
Mrs. Nowak and Mrs. Linden
