Thank you all for being patient as we work out drop off and pick up. Things seem to be going smoothly. Please remember to be on time for both drop off and pick up.
Typically in years past, we have a Fall Festival and invite parents to help out. This year,
we are unable to have the parents in the building. We still would like for the kids to
have games and treats to celebrate fall. Teachers will be asking for donations, keep a look
out for those. Our preschool does not celebrate Halloween, so please do not send your child in wearing a costume.
Just a reminder that daylights savings time is November 1st, time to have those clocks fall back an hour.
Payment is due by the 5th of month.
Payment envelopes need to be returned
with your payment. We send the envelopes
back out at the end of the month.
COVID: Wow, what a ride the past few weeks have been. Thank you to our amazing parents. Thank you for all of your support, well wishes and encouragement these past few weeks. I am praying that all our children, families and staff stay healthy.
God Bless,
Carol Boersma, Preschool Director

Hello parents! We have had a great month so far and I’m looking forward to many more! October we will be working on getting to know each other better, classroom, expectations, class board, memorizing the pledge of allegiance and our songs. We will move on to letter B and learn about the fall season! Please remember as the weather changes to pack an appropriate change of clothes. Thank you so much for all you do.
With love,
Mrs. Kidd
Happy Fall everyone,
As we continue with the school year we will continue with our letters C,D & E, the color orange, and the number 2. We will try to do a Fall Festival with limited games in our class on Wednesday. October 28th.
Thank you and God Bless,
Miss Schroder
Hello everyone,
Initially, we had a beautiful start to the year. We spent time getting to know one another and new routines, and our class is now full. Almost everyone is on ClassDojo now so
you should be seeing regular classroom updates. I finished an informal assessment for almost all children. It’s great to see many are knowing shapes and colors as well as some letters, sounds and numbers already. I’ve seen some great coloring and cutting skills, and beautiful social skills too.
Thank you for all your support during this challenging time. I can’t tell you how much I personally appreciate that. In October when we can all get back in the classroom, we will explore Fall, numbers up to 5, and the letters C, A, L, E and J.
Here are a few reminders. Children don’t need drinks at preschool as we provide water. Please keep “take home” folders in bags so that they go to and from school each day. If you haven’t placed an oversized paint shirt in your child’s bag, but would like them to wear one, please do so.
Praying for continued good health for all of us and our families.
Mrs. Lewis
As the saying goes, Happy Fall Y’all! Mid-September ended up being a little crazier then
we all had planned, but we all worked together marvelously and we are still pushing forward. As I have done since the beginning, I am continuing to clean and disinfect as much as possible.
Now, onto October…. I am very excited for this month. We will be focusing on the letters U, M, N, and F. We will also be continuing with numbers 5-7.
Fall theme crafts will be plentiful and towards the end of the month, Mrs. Boersma and I will be taking the class on a stroll through the neighborhood to find leaves for an art project.
As the temperatures continue to dip into some nice, but cooler, temperatures, please remember to pack light jackets for the kids.
I would like to make sure they get outside to play whenever possible, but if it is on the chilly side and everyone doesn’t have
a jacket, then it won’t be possible to go outside.
Also, please remember to leave their folders in their bags so we can continue to put their work in them each day. On the 28th of October, we will be doing a Fall Festival in our classroom for our kids only. I will be sending out a sign-up sheet for that around the second week of October, so please be on the lookout. I will post it in Class Dojo, as well as email it to you and send it home in your child’s tote bag.
Love,
Mrs. Nowak
