Spin Kemp Christian Preschool
Parent Newsletter March 2023
It feels like we just had Christmas and now its March.
The school year is zooming right by!
It’s amazing to see the progress each child has made
this year. The same littles that were tearful on their first
day have blossomed and come to preschool with
such confidence.
I love getting to watch them grow and learn.
God Bless,
Carol Boersma

- Spring Ahead on Sunday, March 12th.
- Registration is open for our current students. If you need a continuation form please let me know. Registration fee is $50. That will secure your child’s spot in the fall. We will open registration to the general public on March 1st. If you know anyone looking for a preschool, please send them our way.
- Picture Day is March 20th. Order forms will be sent home soon. Pre-K class will get an option for cap and gown photos along with the spring setting. We are planning on having a bunny for the spring photos!

Mrs. Lindens Early Beginners
It feels like February flew by, but March will seem longer with no scheduled days off. As we finish up the Transportation theme we will roll into talking about Fruits & Vegetables and then enjoy some fun activities related to Treats. We'll finish the month with a week on our 5 Senses, and then start talking about Easter. The weather in March is typically unpredictable, but if we get a nice day we will try to play outside, so please be sure to send a sweatshirt or jacket to school.
It is a joy to be with your kids and have the opportunity to watch them learn and grow together. :) Thanks for sharing them with us.
Mrs. Linden
Happy Spring!!
Hopefully! So we will continue with our letters L, F, B, Q, & J and our numbers 18, 19, 20, & 21, doing things with the colors green and yellow and talking about hexagons and shamrocks. Librarian is Wednesday, March 8 and Music with Pastor is Wednesday, March 15.
With Easter being kind of early in April our sign up for the Easter Party Snack will be up soon. We also ask for a donation of 12 plastic Easter Eggs filled with a candy/chocolate or trinket per student. Remember we are nut free!
Thank you.
Ms. Schroder and Mrs. McElroy
We are progressing nicely through our alphabet and numbers. We will continue to work on patterns and rhyming while introducing sequencing and missing letters/numbers. The kids have really shown some interest in simple addition and subtraction, so I will be starting to introduce that this month as well.
Mid-March will bring us school pictures (along with graduation pictures), a Leprechaun Hunt for St. Patrick’s Day and spring activities in the classroom.
Hopefully the weather will continue to get nicer and nicer and we will be able to spend more time outside playing. Please make sure you send the kids with jackets in case we go outside. I always tell the kids that they have to take their coats outside with us, but they don’t always have to wear them.
Thank you for all you do with your kids at home, reiterating what we are learning but also reinforcing our expectations on their behavior while at school. We really appreciate you guys teaming up with us to make sure the kids are successful this year. The end of the year will be here before we know, so let’s keep the momentum going.
Much Love,
Ms. Nowak and Mrs. Martell
