Notes from Early Beginners Teachers ~ September 2017

• We realize this may be the first experience your child will have away from Mom and Dad. This gives us the special privilege of making your child feel happy,  safe and secure in a classroom. We have experience in handling these separation anxieties. The best procedure is to hand them to us and leave in a timely manner lingering only makes the situation worse if they cry, it is actually harder on you   than it is them. We will give lots of understanding and cuddles until they feel safe enough to begin play. This  anxiety can last days or a couple of weeks be assured we have compassion for our little ones. It is important we keep our lines of communication open this year. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
• We have lots new skill to learn this year: using glue, scissor skills, following directions, sharing toy and book with new friends, arts and crafts and skill building games. This will be a busy year for your first time student.
