We are so glad you have chosen Spin Kemp Christian Preschool. We are looking forward to a fun school year filled with learning, making friends and having fun! Preschool for our M/Th-F students begins on Tuesday, September 6th. Our M, W, F students will start
on Wednesday, September 7th. Doors open at 8:25.
Paperwork: Please make sure all forms are turned in prior to their first day!
Tuition Payments: Envelopes will go home in October, but tuition is still due by Friday, September 2nd.
Snacks: Please make sure you pack your child a snack each day they are in the building. We ask that it be nut free!
My name is Carol Boersma. This is my 3rd year as director of Spin Kemp. I have had 3 out of 4 children come through this preschool. My husband retired from the Air Force back in 2017. In 2019, we made Beavercreek, our forever home. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Trocaire College (Buffalo, NY). I have worked at a few different style centers until our oldest was born. I was a stay at home mom for many years until I started subbing again in 2018.
Mrs. Nowak is our M-Th/F PreK teacher. This is her 3rd year as lead Pre K teacher! Did you know she has her own hot air balloon? How cool is that?
Mrs. Martell is our newest addition! We are so excited to welcome her to our staff. She will be our PreK aide on MWF!
Ms. Schroder is our returning Middler teacher. She has been with us since 2016. She has been in both the Early Beginner class and the middler class. She is very active her at the church with Awana and VBS just to mention a few!
Mrs. Linden was our PreK aide last year but has decided to give Early Beginners a go! She comes with some amazing ideas! Looking forward to seeing what she does with our youngest students!
We also welcome some new substitutes to our preschool! Mrs. Matthews, Mrs. McElroy and Mrs. Clark!

This month our main focus will be on getting to know each other and learning our routine. We will practice sharing, taking turns, and listening while our friends are speaking.
I look forward to doing lots of fun activities together. We will spend our first two weeks talking about colors,
then shift gears to apples, and finish up September focusing on animals.
It is so good to see your children for school this year! We will be going over our letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. We will have a letter every week. We will practice writing our names as well as learning to use scissors and glue.
If you have any questions feel free to message me through Class Dojo or talk to me in person.
Please remember to pack a change of clothes in their bag.
Thank you and God Bless,
Miss. Schroder
Welcome back to school!
September is going to be a busy month and we are going to dive right in! We will start with some basic skills (names, colors, shapes, tracing, etc.) then we will move into our weekly letters and numbers.
Please be sure to read all the paperwork sent home in your yellow folders, but please keep the folders in your child’s bag. I will use them to send home their daily work.
I am a big advocate for fresh air. Whether it is getting the kids outside or having a window open in our classroom. Even if it is a little chilly in the mornings, I will still try to get the kids outside (as long as it is not wet), so please pay attention to the weather and send light jackets or sweaters when they are needed.
Don’t forget to accept the Class Dojo invite in your emails. I will use this medium as daily communication with everyone. One thing I forgot to mention in the paperwork, for security purposes, only parents of the kids in the class will be allowed to be on Class Dojo.
I am really excited to see what this month brings us. The lasting friendships that are formed in the early weeks warms my heart so much. If there is anything you have concerns about, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. My contact information is in the paperwork you were given.
Thank you for the chance to get to know you and your child. We are really excited to see everyone’s growth this year.
Mrs. Nowak and Mrs. Martell
