In these confusing times at the tail end of the pandemic, it is hard to know just what to do.
We have different people telling us different things about what is safe and what is not safe.
It is truly difficult to know who to listen to. Even as church leaders, we are not able to provide clear direction on how to proceed from here.
The best thing we can advise you to do is to
seek the Lord's guidance for your own
individual situation.
Amateur pilot Stephen Hedges wrote about the difficulty of flying a plane by instruments alone — a necessary skill if you want to fly at night or in fog. Without this skill, it is easy for a pilot to fall into an uncontrolled bank and crash.
During one instrument lesson, Hedges noted, “I flew the headings and turns as instructed, but even with ten hours of instrument flying in my logbook, I was amazed at how quickly the plane slid into a banking turn if I diverted my attention for just a few moments. The first time it happened, a pang of panic shot through me,
a momentary fear that made it even more difficult to comprehend what the plane was doing.”
But when he heard his instructor next to him calmly say, “Watch your bank,” Hedges quickly leveled the plane.
There are a lot of times in the Christian life when we’re forced to fly in fog or at night, when it’s hard to get our bearings, when we can’t see the horizon and get the perspective necessary to stay level. At such times it’s doubly important to keep our eyes fixed on God’s guiding Word and to stay attentive to his calming guidance.
During this time of “flying in the fog,” please turn to the Lord and His unfailing Word and trust His guidance for your life. I would love to see everybody back in church, but I am trusting God to lead each of you in the way you should go.
As always, if there is any way that I can be of help in your decision-making process,
I am here to give you my support and encouragement and to help you discern the direction provided in the Word of God.
With Love, Pastor Scott

Please see Pastor Scott for details.
When you give to One Great Hour of Sharing, you deploy resources to people in need all around the world. Through sustainable development projects, our partners provide life-giving water and other critical resources that help communities reinvent and reimagine what is possible. When water comes to a village, people are safer, healthier, and more free to pursue learning and growth opportunities. Let love flow, and share more than just water.
How far are you willing to let your love flow?
Nobody hungry, nobody thirsty, shade from the sun, shelter from the wind. For the Compassionate One guides them, takes them to the best springs. Isaiah 49:10
