Exodus 16:1-8

2. Complainers should expect to be tested. (4)
God's new direction introduces us to a whole new set of tests and trials of a different kind.
3. Complainers are always looking for someone to blame. (6-8)
Ultimately, we are putting the blame on God.
4. Complainers are never satisfied with what they are given. (13-15)
Whatever it is we have, we would rather have something else, something better, something someone else has, something we used to have.
5. Complainers are never satisfied with how much they are given. (16-20)
What "manna" teaches us
a. to look to the Lord for our supply
b. to look to the Lord daily for our needs
c. to feed on Christ is the only secret of strength and blessedness
