John 20:1-8
1. John, the Believer (3-5)
The empty grave was enough evidence for him that what the women had said was true.
John 20:29- “Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.”
2. Peter, the Skeptic (6-8)
Peter's vision was clouded by the pain he felt over his past. (Luke 24:12)
Too many people don't have enough evidence to place their faith in Jesus because they don't stick around long enough.
3. Mary, the Broken-Hearted (11-13)
To her, Jesus meant:
a. Release
b. Peace
c. Forgiveness
d. someone to believe in
e. Leadership
Everyone here is like one of these three witnesses.
Jesus can be to you all those things Mary thought she had lost.
If you're not ready to believe today, stick around!
