Your spiritual “PE” test
1. Is is a Personal Encounter?
You can't trust someone you haven't even met.
2. Is it a Powerful Endowment?
If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, it needs to be poured out and used for God's work.
3. Is it a Positive Example?
I John 2:3; 3:14- Do people see the commandments of God being obeyed in your life?
4. Is it a Peaceful Experience?
The peace of Christ is not the absence of confusion.
The peace of Christ is not the absence of conflict.
The peace of Christ is not the absence of danger.
The peace of Christ is a deep and abiding knowledge of His presence even when terrible things happen.
5. Is it a Purposeful Endeavor?
a. Is there a reason for the things I do?
b. What are those reasons?
c. Is there a reason I should be doing more for the kingdom of God?
