I Corinthians 3:7-15
Our lives revolve largely around our work.
Ecclesiastes 2:17-23- Solomon's conclusion- only if you have God in you life can there be any real meaning to your existence.
Our labor- and our walk with the Lord
1. Work is a part of God's plan for us.
II Timothy 2:15- “present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed.”
Work is a necessary component of man's nature.
Before the fall, work was altogether (a) pleasurable and (b) remunerative.
2. Work is necessary for our fulfillment.
(Proverbs 13:4; 19:15; 21:25)
Work is contributing to the continuity of life itself.
As Christians, our work is a way to bring glory to God. (I Thessalonians 3:7-13)
3. Your work will be scrutinized.
(II Corinthians 5:10- the judgment seat of Christ.)
Or work will be revealed with fire.
As we work together for the Lord, remember, the Boss is watching.
