Ezekiel 37:1-14
Can these bones live? Israel was destroyed to the point where they had no power to do anything about their situation.
3 stages of Ezekiel's vision=3 stages of Israel's restoration
1. The Word of the Lord was spoken. (11)
The prophets speaking to the people was like speaking to a bunch of dead bones.
2. The bones formed into perfect skeletons. (12-13)
The Jews returned from Babylon only because of what was done for them.
3. The bodies came to life. (14, 24-28)
It is God's Holy Spirit that will truly make Israel come alive.
Our salvation
1. God gave His Word to mankind in the written Law.
2. God spoke the Living Word and raised Him from the dead.
3. When God puts His Spirit within us, that is when we become alive again!
