John 3:11-18
To believe means to have faith.
What are we supposed to believe?
1. Believe in Jesus. (3:15-16; 6:36; 11:25; 14:1)
It means more than to believe in His existence.
It means more than to acknowledge what the Bible says.
It means to base your life on Him.
2. Believe that it was God who sent Jesus to us. (5:24, 37-8; 6:29; 11:42; 16:27; 17:8, 21)
To say that, is to say that it's all out of our hands.
Why should you believe?
1. Because of what you have seen (2:23; 4:48; 6:30; 7:31; 10:38)
2. Because of what you have heard (4:41; 5:24, 46-7; 8:45-6; 10:41-2; 19:35)
The result of believing
One word: Change
(1:12; 3:18; 7:38; 6:35)
