The ark of the covenant represented the person of God Himself.
Our relationship with God hinges on the balance between intimacy and reverence.
“Consecrate yourselves” - God will use His people when their hearts are pure.
2. Having Faith in God's Involvement (6-17)
God kept His promise, a great distance away.
Trust- God hears your prayers, He knows what He is doing, He is in control.
3. Being Thankful for God's Blessings (4:1-7)
The stones were set up to be a memorial.
We must take precautions, or we will miss what God has done for us.
4. Telling your Descendents (4:21-22)
“What do these stones mean?”
The Church should reinforce your child's faith, but it cannot take the place of parents sharing their faith
with their children.
5. Giving the Credit to God. (5:1)
Half the Israelites' battle was won, because they saw what the Lord had done in their behalf.
The devil trembles when he sees the weakest saint on his knees.
