Isaiah 6:1-8
If your heart is bent toward God when you walk in the door, it will be full of God when walk out.
Worship: getting drenched with God
1. Have a right attitude about God. (1-3)
two sides to God's nature
a. transcendence- God is beyond anything earthly or finite
b. immanence- God is everywhere all the time
God is “wholly other.”
2. Have a right attitude about yourself. (5)
Confession puts us in a position of agreement with God.
3. Be made worthy to worship. (6-7)
Worship becomes something you choose to do because you are able to do it, not because you
have to do it.
4. Worship is a lifestyle. (8)
It is nothing but a ceremony if it doesn't lead into a lifestyle of service.
