1. Spiritual Understanding
the ability to see things you can't see with your eyes, and to know things you can't conclude from the facts.
a. Elisha's spiritual awareness- “those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
source of awareness- knowledge of spiritual things
confidence of what true faith can bring.
b. Our spiritual awareness – When you place your trust in God, He opens your eyes.
I Corinthians 2:9-11, 13-14 “...the man without the Spirit does not accept the things of God..... for they are spiritually discerned.”
2. Spiritual Blindness
a. Elisha's prayer: a. for his servant to see the spiritual reality
b. for the Arameans to be blinded to the earthly reality.
b. Unbelievers
John 9:39- “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see, and those who see will become blind.”
Faith is more than believing in Him, it is believing Him.
If you don't know Jesus, then you are blind.
