How seriously does God take sin? Nothing short of the death of Jesus Christ could remedy the problem.
God will sometimes allow or even will for us to go through painful experiences so that we can understand
the consequences of sin and also experience His comfort. (Job 5:17)
The result of our mourning is that God moves in our behalf.
Psalm 30- what begins in mourning, our grief and sorrow over our sin, ends in joy, through the forgiveness and love of our Lord.
Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
