Isaiah 1:10-18
Getting Right=Repentance
Living Right= Holiness
Holiness is something you never do completely.
1. Start With Your Heart. (vs. 11)
If our actions are not a reflection of the attitude of our heart, then we are wasting our time going through the motions.
2. Get Serious About Sin. (vs. 16)
a. To be holy, you need to apply the blood of Christ to your heart.
b. Eradicate sin from your life.
Holiness is a process of learning.
3. Cultivate Compassion (vs. 17)
Holiness develops when you stop thinking about yourself and start giving yourself to others.
Every time you encounter someone, you have the opportunity to practice holiness.
The joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)
