Without confidence, we couldn't even pray. (Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:12)
Without confidence we could never face temptation. (Proverbs 3:26)
Without confidence, we could never face adversity. (Hebrews 10:35)

1. An eternal perspective on life (vs. 1)
Regardless of what happens today, God will still be on His throne, and you are still His child.
Paul's attitude: “Either way, I win!” (Philippians 1:21-24)
2. Trust God to meet your needs. (vs. 2)
confident attitude: “If I get anything at all, it will have to be from God, and it will be enough.”
3. Make mistreatment a matter of prayer. (vs. 3)
Prayer is much more than just therapy.
God doesn't just listen to our problems, He does something about them. (Psalm 34:6, Luke 18:7)
confident attitude: We have the only reason to be confident, and that reason is Jesus.
