Culpable characters
1. Judas Iscariot (vs. 1-5)
We can't read his motives. We can only read his actions.
Lesson: Don't give up on God.
2. The crowd (vs. 25)
They allowed themselves to be used and manipulated.
Lesson: Don't let the rest of the world do your thinking for you.
3. Pontius Pilate (vs. 24)
He was desperate to impress his superiors in Rome
We live in a no-fault world.
Lesson: Take responsibility for your actions.
If we recognize our guilt, we can receive His grace. (I John 1:9)
