Pentecost now represents when the Holy Spirit came and indwelled and empowered believers to be the Church.
In the Jewish calendar, there is a long delay before there is another feast.
Feast 3
Feast of Tabernacles – the Jews were to construct booths
The week is a reminder of the exodus from Egypt and the journey to Canaan.
Feast of Trumpets = Jewish New Year
Day of Atonement = Yom Kippur
Feast of Trumpets foreshadows the rapture, or the return of Israel to their homeland.
Day of Atonement foreshadows the spiritual restoration of Israel.
Feast of Tabernacles is called “The In-gathering”- foreshadows the return of Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom.
