Why is there evil?
God gave freedom to His creation to obey or disobey Him.
Lucifer wanted to live independently of God.
What Adam and Eve did represented what any of us would do. (Romans 5:12)
We stand before God already condemned because of our human sinful condition. (John 3:18)
False philosophies about our human condition
The Bible teaches us that man is born with a natural inclination toward evil.
Why doesn't God stop it?
It is out of His love for us that He waits. (Romans 1:24-32, II Timothy 3:1-7)
What we can know for sure
1. Every day that passes is one day closer to when Jesus returns.
2. Mankind is only going to get worse. (Jeremiah 17:9)
