Gideon's battle
It would be by God's power and God's power alone that the Israelites would be delivered.
1st test- the 10,000 that remained were truly fearless.
God allows us to be weakened in many different ways.
II Corinthians 12:9- “when I am weak then I am strong.
God does give us more than we can handle sometimes.... to let His strength carry us through and not our own.
2nd test – the 300 that remained were unceasingly alert.
Morale is a crucial ingredient in military effort.
How we feel about our work as a church greatly affects our performance.
The resources we have are exactly what our enemy lacks (Ephesians 6)
Everyone who is on the Lord's side is on the same side, the winning side.
