Mark 4:35-41
1. “Let's go over to the other side”
It is necessary to temporarily detach yourself from the responsibilities and problems of daily life.
2. “A bad storm came up”
Being a Christian does not exempt you from serious problems. You must learn to expect hardship in this life.
3. “Don't you care if we drown?”
God allows the storm to remain because there is something He wants us to learn.
4. “Quiet, be still.”
Sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He calms the child.
The one who hears the Word and accepts it is the one who is able to remain strong.
The only way to get through the storms of life is to draw upon that which we have learned when things were calm.
The Word of God is your anchor.
