Matthew 13:24-33; 44-50

wheat = true believers
enemy = devil

2. A True Disciple is Identified by the Growth he Experiences. (31-32; Mark 4:26-29)
There is no such thing as a Christian who is not growing.
3. A True Disciple is Identified by a New Nature which Permeates his Whole Life. (33)
Here, yeast is used to symbolize salvation.
The life of a carnal Christian is the most miserable life of all. (Romans 7:15-20)
4. A True Disciple is Identified by the Sacrifices he makes. (44-46)
When you realize the value of eternal life, no sacrifice is too great to obtain it.
5. A True Disciple is Identified by a Separated Lifestyle. (47-50)
Two separations
1. When we sin, we are separated from God.
2. When we are born again, we are separated for God.
Don't be deceived by those who make salvation comfortable and convenient.
