Psalms 95:3-7
Grace is what connects the different sides of God.
1. God as Righteous Judge + Grace = Merciful Judge
When God's standards are breached, then His judgment enters.
When you believe in what God has done for you in Jesus, God declares you “not guilty.” (Romans 3:21-25; 5:16, 8:1)
2. God as a Stern Father + Grace = Concerned and Caring Father
God issues tough warnings and commands that He fully expects to be obeyed.
When you understand God's imperatives in the light of His grace, they take on new meaning. (Hebrews 12:6-11)
3. God as the Silent Creator = Grace = Intimate Maker.
Who are we in the context of all He has created? (Psalms 8:3-4)
When we see God as being all three persons of the Trinity, then we see the other side of God. (Hebrews 4:14-16)
Our Creator God knows every one of His sheep, and cares for each one.
