Isaiah 37:14-20
1. “Spread it out” before the Lord.
Don't veil prayer with self-righteousness.
Don't disguise any details to justify yourself.
If prayer is hypocritical, we are not going to get the answers we want.
2. Receive encouragement from the knowledge of who God is.
Even if your problem seems insurmountable, your God is up to the challenge of protecting you and rescuing you and using you in the midst of your problems.
3. Receive a message of grace and peace from the Lord.
It is enough to know that God is in control.
