1. Spider webs are quickly made.
A foundation of truth and righteousness does not come quickly. (I Chron. 16:11; Hosea 12:6;
Acts 11:23; I Cor. 15:58; I Cor. 16:13; Gal. 6:9; Eph. 6:18; Titus 1:9; Hebrews 12:1)
2. Spider webs are skillfully made.
You don't have to have any particular skill, or intelligence, or knowledge to be used of God. (I Corinthians 1:26-31)
3. Spider webs are beautifully made.
As beautiful as the things of this world are, they are still all going to pass away.
(Proverbs 31:30; Ezekiel 16:14-16)
4. Spider webs are internally made.
We must be totally dependent upon God to have true life.
(Galatians 1:11; Romans 10:3; II Cor. 1:9; Rev. 3:17)
5. Spider webs are excessively frail. (Isaiah 59:5-6)
