Jeremiah 17:9-10

1. Don't try to judge your own heart. (vs. 9)
Mistakes- a. judge ourselves too harshly
b. give ourselves too much credit
2. Place your heart in God's care. (vs. 10a)
If you give your heart to God, He will remove that which is made of stone, and replace it with a heart of flesh. (Ez. 36:25)
God becomes the object of your devotion.
3. Your actions reveal the state of your heart. (vs. 10b)
Don't let your heart accuse you. Don't let it excuse you, either.
The solution to impure motives is to keep doing what is right.
