Luke 19:36-44
1. “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” (40)
Truth is truth, no matter what men may say.
Romans 1:20- Nature testifies that God is real and His Word is true. (Romans 1:4)
We, His special creation, have been given the means and the ability to shout and sing the praised of God.
Psalms 8- “from the lips of children, God has ordained praise.”
The stones speak of the necessity of praising and glorifying God.
2. “They will not leave one stone on another.” (44)
The stones in the rubble cry out of the hopelessness of rejecting Christ, and the judgment that awaits.
As the procession neared the city, Jesus wept over it.
God's message to us in Christ- love and righteousness will triumph!
