Characteristics of Epaphroditus
1. Brother
The closest of friendships can develop when we celebrate the oneness that Christ creates within us.
2. Fellow-worker
We as friends have to work together if we are going to accomplish anything for the Lord.
3. Fellow- soldier
We are fighting the same enemy, in the same trench, sharing the same weapon.
4. Messenger
The ones to receive the message should be held in high regard and of utmost importance.
5. Minister
Every member of the Body of Christ is to minister to the needs of others.
How to become unknown soldiers of Christ
1. We need to be burdened
a. for the task of mission
b. for people
2. Flexibility
Epaphroditus was willing to go where he was needed most, when he was needed most.
...even if it means “gambling” with our own pride, our own time, our own life.
