Many things that God has ordained are taken lightly in our society.

Application for us
1. Our days are numbered
It is appointed for man to die. (Heb. 9:27)
2. After that comes the judgment. (Prov. 16:2)
As much as our sin outweighs our works of righteousness, God's grace outweighs our sin.
3. There will be a division.
“All the nations will be gathered before Him, He will separate the people from one another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:31-41)
