Luke 24:1-9
We need to remember His words. But we also need to place those words in the light of His resurrection.
1. Remember Christ's words that we are to live lives that are of service to God and to others.
Because of the resurrection, our toil is not in vain. (I Corinthians 15:58)
2. Remember the words Jesus spoke about Himself.
He is the only example of a perfect life.
Because of the resurrection, we can learn directly from the Master.
3. Remember the words of Jesus concerning the establishment of His kingdom, and the promise
of eternal life.
Because of the resurrection, His kingdom will consist of a new heaven and a new earth.
Jesus died to bring a solution to all these problems.
He rose again to make that solution permanent.
