Hebrews 11:6 – It is impossible to please the Lord without faith.
What people can do to please God
1. Be Dedicated to His Church.
It pleases God to have a people set apart for Himself. (I Samuel 12:22, I Corinthians 12:18)
2. Be Dependent on His Power.
That is how we are strongest when we are weakest. (II Corinthians 12:9, John 5:19-20)
3. Take Delight in His Name.
(Psalm 69:30-31, Hebrews 13:15, Psalm 37:4, John 12:28-29)
More than any other sacrifice, God desires a sacrifice of praise.
4. Be Directed by His Wisdom.
(I Kings 3:10)
Sometimes He directs us to make decisions we'd rather not have to make, or deal with people we'd
just as soon avoid, or take a stand on issues we'd rather ignore.
5. Be Dynamic in your Witness.
Your desire to be a witness for the Lord is something that pleases God.
(I Thessalonians 2:1-6, I Corinthians 1:17-21)
